| The Spey Valley Smokehouse offers visitors the opportunity to experience the traditional smoking process in the most modern of facilities. Witness the curing of the whole Salmon sides, observe our time-honoured and unique hanging technique, and see the salmon after it has been smoked in the kilns where the luxurious aroma of whisky barrel wood shavings gives the product its unrivalled oaken flavour. Visitors then have the opportunity to purchase our smoked salmon from the Smokehouse shop, along with a selection of other products. |

| The Smokehouse sits on the River Spey, which runs for over 100 miles from its source in the Monadhliath Mountains to where it flows into the North Sea at Spey Bay in Morayshire. It is the fastest flowing river in Europe and falls 1,100 feet over its course. Situated in the Cairngorm National Park, the largest and highest in the UK, it offers the visitor stunning views of snow capped mountains, wild heather Moorland, ancient pine and birch woods , tranquil Lochs and sparkling burns, all supporting an abundance of wildlife and unique flora and fauna. |
